First edition of the Canadian Opera and Orchestra Congress.
I am delighted to share with you that I have been awarded a scholarship of LOJIQ - Quebec International Youth Offices to attend the very first edition of the Congress Canadian opera and orchestral conference, which will take place next week in Edmonton. I will have the opportunity to meet professional peers in classical music in Canada and to reconnect with some dear acquaintances from the field.
I'm really looking forward to this experience, which I feel privileged to have.

The ROSAS Y ESPINAS tour is on!

Mariana De la Rosa obtains a grant from CALQ to finance his first tour!
“I would like to share with you that the Conseil des arts et de lettres du Québec (CALQ) awarded me a $10 grant, as part of the Vivacité program, which is exclusive to immigrant artists who stand out. This grant will finance the promotional tour for my first album Rosas y espinas.

Mariana De la Rosa releases his very first album!
“It is with great joy that I announce the launch of my very first album! Rosas y espinas (Roses and Thorns) is my dream project, a long-awaited opportunity to get even closer to people through music. This album is mainly composed of Mexican and Italian pieces and explores all aspects of love, from hope to disillusionment, from friendship to family. The singles I have recently released are part of this work!
I have been working on this project since 2020 and finally, the time has come to present it to you through a digital album and a tour in Quebec, Ottawa and Toronto. The album will be available on streaming platforms starting MARCH 18!

We watched it, followed by a panel discussion with me, Alex BG (director) and Natalia Muñoz (actress) about our journey to achieve this beautiful result. Mariana De la Rosa is an ambassador for the 10th edition of the SSRI
"I have been selected to be one of the ambassadors for the 10th edition of the Semaine Sherbrookoise des Rencontres Interculturelles, which will take place from November 4 to 12, 2023. It is an honor for me to be able to represent cultural diversity in Sherbrooke through music and to be an ambassador for my Mexican culture. “On September 15, 2023, I had the honor of participating in the official ceremony of the Consulate General of Mexico in Montreal on the occasion of the anniversary of Mexican independence. I had the opportunity to sing the national anthem of Canada, my new country, and the national anthem of Mexico, my country of origin. Then, the Mariachi Oro Blanco and I did a beautiful duet for two beautiful songs. Thank you very much to Consulmex Montreal for this invitation.”
