The ROSAS Y ESPINAS tour is on!

Mariana De la Rosa wins a CALQ grant to finance her first tour!

"I'd like to share with you that the Conseil des arts et de lettres du Québec (CALQ) has awarded me a $10,000 bursary, as part of the Vivacité program, which is exclusive to artists from immigrant backgrounds who make their mark. This grant will finance the promotional tour for my debut album Rosas y espinas.

Mariana De la Rosa launches her debut album!

"It's with great pleasure that I announce the launch of my very first album! Rosas y espinas (Roses and Thorns) is my dream project, a long-awaited opportunity to get even closer to people through music. The album is mainly made up of Mexican and Italian songs and explores all aspects of love, from hope to disillusionment, from friendship to family. The singles I released recently are part of this work!
I've been working on this project since 2020, and now it's time to present it to you through a digital album and a tour of Quebec, Ottawa and Toronto. The album will be available on streaming platforms from MARCH 18!
I'd like to thank all the people who worked with me on this album:
Jean Wiedrick who recorded and played the piano, Alexandre Nadeau who mixed, Alex BG(@bgphotographie.ca) who perfectly captured the essence of the concept in photos and Héloïse Dessanges(@studiohelico.ca) who created the logo and visual design.

Mariana's first music video is out!

"On November 28, we gathered at the Siboire Dépôt in Sherbrooke for the vernissage of my very first music video, featuring F.P. Tosti's Non t'amo più. We screened it, followed by a panel discussion with me, Alex BG (director) and Natalia Muñoz (actress) about our journey to achieve this beautiful result. Mariana De la Rosa is an ambassador for the 10th edition of the SSRI

"I've been selected to be one of the ambassadors for the 10th edition of the Semaine Sherbrookoise des Rencontres Interculturelles, which will take place from November 4 to 12, 2023. It's an honor for me to be able to represent Sherbrooke's cultural diversity through music, and to be an ambassador for my Mexican culture. Mariana performs the Canadian and Mexican national anthems at Consulmex Montréal

"On September 15, 2023, I had the honor of participating in the official ceremony at the Consulate General of Mexico in Montreal on the occasion of the anniversary of Mexican independence. I had the opportunity to sing the national anthem of Canada, my new country, and the national anthem of Mexico, my country of origin. Afterwards, the Mariachi Oro Blanco and I did a beautiful duet for two beautiful songs. Many thanks to Consulmex Montréal for this invitation."
